The gameplay in Basketball RPG is a balance of offensive maneuvers and a robust defensive system. On offense, you have to be flexible, choosing between moving, sprinting, or even using "distract" moves to find an opening. On defense, the game becomes a high-stakes guessing game. You have to choose to block, aim for the ball, or sprint to cover ground. If you miss a defensive assignment, the game provides a visual reminder as the ball rolls into the hoop, signaling that it’s time for more practice. A standout mechanic is the Steal Bonus. If you catch your opponent while they are aiming, you receive a 25% steal bonus.

As you progress through the campaign mode, you can unlock new characters. You might play as a seasoned hero with special skills or an amateur player with nothing but big dreams.
