GAMEPLAY MECHANICS: BREAK DEFENSE AND DROP THE MEGA DUNK

Matches in Nick Basketball Stars are fast, frantic, and focused on reaching 21 points first. While standard baskets earn you 2 points, the game rewards flair and aggression. A unique aspect is the team-based strategy. Even if you don't have the ball, you play a vital role by "attacking" opponents to protect your teammate. The most exciting mechanic is the Mega Dunk: as you play well, an energy bar at the top of the screen fills up. Once fully charged, you can unleash a cinematic super-shot from anywhere on the court that is worth 3 points and is virtually unstoppable.

Instructions to Control

Movement: Use the Left and Right Arrow Keys.
Jumping: Press the Up Arrow. Press it again to perform a Double Jump.
Shooting/Dunking: When near the hoop, jump and press the Spacebar.
Stealing/Attacking: Press the Spacebar when near an opponent.
Mega Dunk: When your power bar is glowing, jump and hit the Spacebar.

Tips to Play

The Double jump allows you to adjust your position in mid-air, making it easier to dunk.
Use the Spacebar constantly when defending to harass the ball carrier and force turnovers.
Always veer off-path to grab the Lightning or Cloud icons.
Save the Mega Dunk for moments when you are far away or trapped by defenders.
