AIM, BOUNCE, AND OUTSMART YOUR RIVAL
In Tom and Jerry: Backyard Battle, after choosing Tom or Jerry, you begin on one side of the backyard with a basketball launcher. Your opponent stands somewhere on the opposite side, and you must use your launcher to send the ball toward them. There is a dotted trajectory that shows the expected path, helping you judge where the basketball will travel. You might bounce the ball from a basketball hoop, send it along a slide, or use a trampoline to create an unexpected angle.
The surrounding objects can also be destroyed. Removing a box, birdhouse, or branch may open a clearer path. Besides, during the battle, coins may appear above the playing area. Hitting them with your basketball increases your score. You can also find a special power-up that allows you to fire three cannonballs simultaneously.
